Director of Outreach
Part-time

Jewish Family Services (JFS) is offering an exciting opportunity for a Director of Outreach to work in their Development and Communications Division. This newly-created, part-time position will be responsible for developing, organizing, coordinating and managing community and partner outreach for all programs, services and divisions supported by JFS.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in community relations, public affairs or related field. Experience, familiarity, or interest working with mental health and wellness issues as they relate to individuals of all ages and backgrounds is required. Prior experience in marketing and outreach activities is highly desired. Additionally, qualified candidates will have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the Internet, and be able to collaborate and work effectively with clients, agency personnel, volunteers and other public and/or private organizations. The ability to pass a criminal background check, a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle with insurance is also required.
